RangTel cost?
A. RangTel
has Five Pre-paid plans for our valuable customers. Anyone can sign
up for a pre-paid long distance call plan starting from Canadian $10
to activate his account online. Our online payment is most secured
and we accept all major credit cards and Paypal payments as well.
Q. Is it safe
to enter my credit card details into your web site?
A. Yes! We
partner with Paypal the worlds renowned online payment service
provider for credit card payments who have a secure site so your
details are encrypted before being sent over the internet.
Q. Where
can I sign up?
A. If
you want to purchase any of our plans just go to BUY AN ACCOUNT and
proceed on the steps. It is secured. Your account will be activated
within 6 to 12 hours, sometimes even less. If you want to just send
a request to be a subscriber but don’t want to pay online then send
us a request through the link SUBSCRIPTION and one of our customer
support member will get back to you within 6 to 12 hours to provide
you all the possible options to become our subscriber and to
activate your account.
Q. I
have paid for an account but where are my account details?
A. As
you paid online you will get an email confirmation of the payment
from Paypal, it could take 6 to 12 hours to activate your new
account or recharge your existing account by Rangtel. If you have
any urgency to make a long distance call please feel free to call
us, talk to one of our customer support members to do these staffs
for you more faster. If you are paid and did not get any email
notification of confirmation of payments from Paypal, please feel
free to contact us or email us with your order number and other
payment details at
support@rangtel.com . We will do the
rest for you.
Q. Why
did I get a new account when I tried to add credit to my existing
account?
A.
Currently we are providing different types of long distance plan and
using the same UI for new account and recharge account. So if you
are an existing subscriber just pay for any plan you want. Your
account will be recharged within 6 to 12 hrs. We will do the rest
for you. If you are a new to be a subscriber just make a payment for
the plan you would like and we will do the rest for you to activate
your account.
We do apologies for the inconvenience of these issues. But hopefully
we are going to impalement the new UI very soon and you will be able
to activate or recharge your account yourself automatically and
instantly when you will be paid.
Q. Why
is my paid amount little more than the RangTel plan’s cost written
in Rangtel website?
A. As
you are purchasing a service you must pay the HST
that is valued 13% of your total amount.
Q. Which
countries can I call to?
A. You
can call to any country in the world. See our call rates and list of
destination countries here.
Q. Why
my search results for rates are not showing anything?
A.
Probably you are misspelled the destination country name. So please
check it and click on the Search button again. For example if you
want to know the rate of any cell phone of United Kingdom, please
write the keyword United kingdom NOT UK. Still having problem?

Q. How
should I make a long distance call?
A.
It’s very easy. Just dial your local access number of Rangtel. ( If
it asks for your PIN number please enter that). Then dial your
desire
Country Code + Area Code + Phone Number + #.
You are done. We do not need to be dialled 011 before making any
calls.
Q. How
are the calls charged?
A.
Calls are charged PER 30 seconds PULSE, so for example, a 29 seconds
call will only be charged as 30 seconds NOT ONE MINUTE. Beware -
many of our competitors will round this up to 1 minute so it can
cost you almost twice as much!
Q. How
many seconds we are going to have per minute?
A.
Many of the long distance call service providers are counting a
minute less than 60 seconds. BUT WE DO NOT DO. We provide FULL 60
Seconds PER MINUTE.
Q. Is
there any expiry date on my account?
A. No!
For our RangTel post-paid and pre-paid plans expiry date is not
applicable. Your account can be used at any time, assuming you have
enough credit to make the call. For our RangTel calling cards there
are expiration limitation for 6 months whereas other cards are not
giving so much duration for an expiration limit. Some of our
competitors are providing only 6 to 7 days to use their call cards.
Q. Are
there any other fees?
A. No!
There are no connection fees, No hidden charges and No monthly fees
for our Post-paid, Pre-paid and Buy minutes Plans. You only pay for
the calls you make.
Q. What
happens if I can't use your service, or I can't get it to work?
A. We
want all of our customers to be happy and satisfied with our
services. If you are not, for any reason, please feel free to call
us or send us an email with your problems you are facing and we will
do our best to resolve the situation. We do not have any contract or
agreement to become a subscriber of Rangtel. So any time you can
discontinue. We are serving for customer, so we do respect our
customer’s point of view.
Q. Can I
see my balance or details of my calls I have made?
A.
SURE, once you have your login id and pin number, you can login to
our website and can see the total uses detail and your account
balance. It includes call time, from, to, Durations, Costs and
Destinations. You can also search for a rate with the telephone
prefix or destination country name from the same window. You can see
your previous call details as well any time. And all these you can
see instantly. For example if you make a call now, you can see the
call details and costs instantly from our web access, Just click on
REFRESH LINK.
